Recreating the Past

Pay no attention to the wet-nose-dog-smears on the window...pay no attention to the wet-nose-dog-smears on the window...

I keep trying to recreate a photo from when I was a child.  It's of me about this age, maybe older, and our family dog at the time, Ralph, staring out the window.  My dad has always commented that it's one of his favorite photos, so every time a baby or dog are staring out the window, I try to place the other without disrupting the first.  Very tricky...I really should give up posing and just wait for it to happen organically.

Isn't she just beautiful?  (Brent tells me not to ask questions like this to others as it forces people to say 'yes' when really they want to say 'no'.  In this case, however, the answer undeniably is 'yes'.)

I couldn't help buy snap a few shots as she slept so soundly. 

Climbing Stairs

This is the second time Abby has ever climbed the stairs!

10 months

Happy 10 months Abigail Jean!  This first year is just flying by!  You'll be one year old before you know it.  My baby will soon not be a baby, but a toddler! 

I think I need to go back to taking pictures in the brown chair as there wasn't as many distractions...  Unfortunately, these are best shots I got and the aftermath of my attempts to get a decent shot.  I also think I need a dry erase board or some sort of slate, so that it doesn't get crumpled up by our favorite paper lover. 

Abby is mad at Mommy for taking away her paper.
